I completed my PADI cert course in 2019 and had a great experience. Very professional, personable and fun dive instructors! However I never received my card. I went to the PADI site and they have my name but no license number. Really want to get my license number so I can use my certification to dive but getting in touch seems impossible…
I have been trying for months to get in contact with Diverse Borneo with only one time response on FB and got left hanging after providing my information for them to look my student information up. Followed up several times, no response. I’ve tried on other platforms (phone, What’s App, Instagram) with no result, so trying here and hoping someone sees! I would rate the school 5 stars if not for this conundrum which I hope is resolved soon.

Just completed my PADI cert with Diverse Borneo and I couldn’t recommend this outfitter enough! They’re both highly professional and engaging! I went on 5 different OW dives, and though I’d never used scuba gear before, I felt safe and well informed on how to dive safely! Also diving around the islands was VERY, VERY BEAUTIFUL. Special thanks to my instructor, Ejam, who answered all my questions, pointed out so many cool things during our dives, and even taught me some Malay phrases. Definitely request him!

Perfect day. Company and tour guides were extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and fun. We arrived late due to our flight arriving late , they waited and made extra arrangements to make sure we still got to dive.

The boat took us to 3 different dive locations and each snorkel session lasted about 45 minutes. We had a private boat to ourselves with our own guide, which meant we were able to snorkel away from the crowds. The kids (aged 11) found the whole trip amazing. We saw lots of fish and even a turtle. The crew were attentive and professional.

Well, I'm not really sure where to begin with this review, I'm just a little sad it's all over. I signed up last minute for the OWC and AOWC courses and was delighted with the customer service and general attitude I received from the get go (I started the courses back to back the very next morning having been told by all other companies that this was not possible)
The courses were fantastic fun and alongside obtaining two important PADI diving certifications I had an absolute blast of a week in the meantime. My instructor was Ejam and we just clicked from the start - joking, non stop laughing, goofing around but also being serious when required. He was a fantastic teacher and made sure I not only understood 'how' to do each skill but 'why'. The entire team went out their way to cater for my needs and requests and we even finished the week off with an awesome night dive.
If you're looking for somewhere to do your PADI certs in KK or even just a fun dive or two and you're a little overwhelmed with the choices I strongly recommend you start with Diverse Borneo. Excellent service, level of competence, experience, sense of humour and competitively priced.
Thanks a lot guys. I'll be back soon!

We had a really good fun time on this. Riding the waves always a treat. The crew were professional and took us to some excellent spots to snorkel. They also cared for a non swimmer in our group and were very professional in ensuring she had a great time too. Zip lining was a blast although wearing gloves would avoid some rope burns we all received. Lunch was good and it seemed like a bonus to do a third snorkel. Overall fabulous value.

I am interested in the 3-day open water diving course your company offers from 31/3-2/4. There are some inquiries:
1. I do not hold a diving license and I am going with my friend who already has one. Could we join the course together and spend most of the time together at the same diving spots/center? May you please kindly offer that? Would the price be different for this case?
2. We will be living at Marriott Hotel (Lot G-23A, Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, 88000 Kota Kinabalu), would you offer pick up service or we would have to go to the departure point by ourselves? Thank you.

Hello 646jacobh, thank you so much for the message. Yes your friend is more than welcome to join in with the training. The price for your friend would be RM275 per day.
We do not provide pick up service. You will nees to meet us at the departure point @ Jesselton Point jetty.
Hi, due to time limitation, I could only choose 1 activity in Gaya island, do you recommend scuba diving or snorkeling?
Thank you very much

Hi Cristina C
Thank you for your message. We are not limited to the number of snorkelers for a day trip with us. We have a maximum of 12 snorkelers on one boat so depending on how many there are we would split your group accordingly on several boats.
The zipline has a maximum number of participants for one day which is 100 persons per day.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers

Hello Agatha, We have our equipment room there which is generally open during the hours of 8am - 5pm, however it is strongly advised that you visit our sales team at Wisma Sabah building which is a 2 minute walk away as we are open 7 days a week there except Christmas day.
