About
Our 45 ft. (13 meter) aluminium glass bottom boat was designed to carry 40 guests, with an easy entry onto the boat via a loading ramp the is lowered to the beach, when the boat is bow to the beach. There are 7 large viewing windows for a comfortable & clear view of the fish & coral, as we travel slowly over the reef. The boat is never more than a 100 meters from the beach, with qualified crew.

One of the best operated packages in Kota Kinabalu.
When visiting Mamutik Island, we were offered a ride on the glass bottom boat, I personally did not want to go, thinking that its would be just another boring trip, for the kids and the old generation family members.
The operator and his crew made the trip so interesting, and pointed out things about marine life I never knew.
I would do this again, don't miss out !!!!! great value !!!!!!! and fun for all age groups.

Brought my family to the long waited outing to Mamutik Island. We chose to hop on the Glass Bottom Boat ride and had a great time.

The Captain "Popeye" of the boat is very skillful and knows every inch of the surrounding water.

We could see many "nemo" fish, parrot fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, etc. We also spotted a stingray. We loved it.

The nemo fish were adorable to see and the experience was great! I really love the underwater world so this was a nice way of seeing the underwater world of Kota Kinabalu without getting wet :)

Excellent comfortable boat ride with ample viewing space. We visited Mamutik at the end of November and were able to see a wide array of marine life amongst the coral; parrot fish, Moorish idols, butterfly fish, angel fish, a blue spotted stingray, flounder and clams. The highlight for me was the many clown or "Nemo" fish swimming in and out of the anemone. We would not have seen these just by snorkeling from the beach. Carl was very interesting and informative, he made sure that everyone on the boat was able to see each species. Bea who sold us the trip is so friendly and helpful and explained it exactly. An unforgettable experience, and must do for all ages. Highly recommended to all.

We loved the Glass Bottom Boat Tour! A great experience, especially for our 10 month old. :) We saw such interesting coral and wildlife, and the boat was in excellent condition. Carl was really knowledgable and clearly passionate about the ocean world, and Bea was very lovely, smily and helpful. Highly recommended.

Really recommend it. Bea and Carl are very friendly and knowledgeable. Must do for families with young children or elderly people, especially if they do not want to venture into the water but still want to see the corals

This glass bottom boat trip is simply great .A new beautiful boat with a very knowledgeable guide .I found this trip very interesting , the fish are amazing and the things i found out about corals aspiring. This trip is not widely advertised we found it were you book your boat to the islands at the back near the toilets with a lovely lady (Jessie) who books all sorts of trips . This trip is not expensive but please note that you have to catch a boat to the island Mamutik to do the trip which was included in the price so you need to take this in account when you look at the price Give it a go I'm sure you won't be disappointed my only complaint is the time on the boat went to quickly ! Thanks also to karls wife Bea who is an interesting knowledge lady and good luck with your new venture.

This is a great tour for those who don't do water sports like myself. We get to see live corals and fishes under the sea from the comfort of the glass bottom boat.

Not only do you get to see the amazing coral and fish life without getting in the water, but your also get to enjoy a cruise around the island. Since the other operators don't go past this way, you get to see areas which few others can enjoy.

Highly recommended for the whole family, kids and all.

Doing a bit of island hopping out of Kota Kinabalu when discovered Glass Bottom Boat Tours on Mamutik. Being a hesitant snorkeller and incompetent swimmer it was a great chance to explore the coral reef from a safe distance. It was so good to see the variety of coral and other underwater creatures in a relaxing and secure environment. A knowledgeable Carl and experienced crew made this a "must do" in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Thanks also to Bea onshore who described it so vividly which encouraged us to go.
