Wonderful place. I felt like I am on Mars. Must visit. About 2hours drive from Diego-Suarez city, and about 30mins off road. Entrance fee is 10,000 Ar. Don’t need guide.

The red tsingy is unique and interesting. It is similar looking to that of the grey tsingy, but this is far mor fragile. It is also red and probably will be washed away in time.

Tsingy means "the pace you can not walk barefooted" in Malagashi. And they are really unique. These rock formations defy nature. They are so different that we can not even tell you what the look like. Well, they look like Tsingy. It's a bit of...More

This is a must-see if you are traveling this part of Madagascar as it is the only red tsingy in the world and is only accessible in the dry season. The tsingy is at the end of a long, narrow, rutted and winding dirt road...More

I rented a motorbike in Diego and set off for the day. The road is truly appalling, in fact it’s not really a road, it’s a track. And then the road goes “off road” and becomes a track and that’s even more appalling, mainly sand....More

Amazing "rock" formation has been revealed from erosion. It is beautiful. Add it to your trip, but don't make a special trip out there.

Navigating over and under razor sharp thrusting volcanic stone complete with your climbing harness is not to be missed. Just when you think you've seen it all, you dip down under the earth through towering walls to find yourself crawling through openings that you eye...More

Interesting rock formations which you can't see anywhere else in the world. It is a long road to this place - which isn't that big at all - but we did really like it. I liked especially the view on the canyon
