Takes you to the key attractions with good leaflet and some English commentary (though I think some of the drivers make funny comments which you'd miss without the language).

Took the Loople around Sendai. It was so easy and covered all of the major tourist sites. I could get on and off or just stay on and do a loop. It’s a great way to find out what Sendai has to offer and there...More

The Loople bus is accessed near Sendai station. It stops at popular tourist attractions (which include, but are not limited to, Zuihoden, Osaki Hachimangu, Miyagi Museum of Art, Sendai Mediatheque) and costs reasonably: 620Y (adults)/130Y (children). From my personal experience as a culture afficionado, it...More

It's a nice, old styled bus which brings you around the most of the tourist attractions in Sendai. The usual ticket is 260 yen so it worth to buy a one day pass for about 600 yen. It also gives you discounts from many entry...More

Great idea, but buses were very irregular and arrivals were completely random compared with timetables. Also on one stop the bus was seriously overcrowded (even by Japanese standards !!) and was so overloaded it had great difficulty climbing the hill to Sendai Park. On the...More

If you do not have much time yet would like to experience fully of Sendai, you can take this loop bus around the place of interest in Sendai. You can hop on and off the bus too.

Not too bad an experience. My ride only had 4 stop points. The thing to note though is the crowd and the difficulty to get on and off at stops. Patience is required indeed.

It is definitely a great bus for tourists in Sendai, stopping at most major tourist attractions except for Rinnoji and the Daikannon. It appears to be jammed packed most of the time when I was using.

A cheap and easy way to see the sites of Sendai. It costs ¥620 yen for a hop on hop off bus tour and it stops at a number of popular tourist spots including the mausoleum of Date Masamune and Sendai Castle. It starts and...More

No. The bus covered the major tourist spot within the city. If you do a Google search on "Sendai Loople" you will find a map of all the bus stops.
