Quite a pleasant walk with nice views on the canyon river. Calm and serene atmosphere. A restaurant at the entrance with good food. If you are on the wheels you might need to drive around to find it. Very close to the bridge.

Amazing gorge with a river running through it. You will see several strange rock formations and one or two small waterfalls. Open 24 hours, so great for a morning hike! This place is right by the hotels. Again, very stunning and short hike that feels...More

If you stay at Akiu Onsen, I would recommend to take a walk to "Rairaikyo" gorge. It's quite and beautiful!
