I have travelled to Japan more than 20 times and lived in some prefectures. Increasingly, i feel that many onsens and sightseeing spots are over-rated. Japan is quality, but are you really sure? The trip to this hotspring from Aomori cost 3500 yen just on...More

We spent three nights at this ryokan (traditional Japanese inn), ferrying ourselves between the dining areas and the onsen (hot spring) when we weren't skiing. Our stay really couldn't have been better. This is a very old inn, so it lacks some of the refinements...More

Yes there is. If you visit the onsen in winter, I recommend to take a shuttle as It snows heavily.
