Very cute trains painted with different cartoon characters! I recommend you to sit in the front and watch the railroad passing beautiful farms, gardens, small villages, etc. The gestures of train operator was very unique; worth to observe!

Great way to get around the area. Stops just about everywhere you need. Now this are older trains on older tracks so your ride is a little bumpy, but still a great means of transportation.

About one hour journey to Kotohira reminded me of the good old days like visiting my grand parents, even though I'm from far away.

The outer appearance is so vintage ! You will love it! Even the ticket system is old school. But one downside, the normal IC card cannot be used here

This is the first time and the only time I used public transport in Takamatsu since we drove a lot. It was a special experience which you could get close to the people in Japan.
