The shopping center had very many stores running across a stretch of about 2 kilometers. After a very hot and tiring day, we were able to find a restaurant around the shopping area and it was a very gooodddd one

The covered shopping street, which actually forms a T, offers every imaginable kind of store. Tiffany's to Pachinko parlors. It's got it all! Great place to wander and be out of the weather.

The shopping area itself is not outstanding but the shops are a nice collection, not touristy, not crowded, not noisy . . . Had an enjoyable time.

I recently spent about half a day walking through the shopping streets. Starting from an entry point near the Takamatsu train station. Most of the shops stayed open even though it was getting dark at around 4pm. There were pretty illuminations along the streets since...More

I visited that street several times. After visiting the shopping arcades in Osaka, Hiroshima and other cities, it looked me too quite. The shops looked old fashion and mostly empty. Maybe because my visits were at the evening.

It won’t make sense to compare this street with the 5th of NY, or Ave. Monaigne, Paris, or Ginza Tokyo... This lovely, long shopping arcade is unique of it’s kind, fits well for it’s local residents in a city like Takamatsu (高松). Not a place...More
