We came here after the ruins of the castle is closed. The park is very pretty with sakura. Peaceful and beautiful. Worth a walk around if you are close by.

One of the best places in Takamatsu to have a relaxing walk in the morning, feeling the atmosphere of Edo-period.

It is a classic Japanese park with a castle in it. It was rather quiet when I was there, and made for a lovely walk. Castle is typical of Japanese castles, which I think is really pretty.

If you want to find a nice and quiet place to have a short walk, highly recommend to visit there. Nearby JR Takamatsu station, you can see Japanese castle and gardens. Good for photography lovers too!

Castle & park dated back to the 17th century. Very nice Japanese garden. If you want to take the postcard photo with the corner tower, you better get in from the East entrance.

If come to Takamatsu, you can't leave without visit the Tamamo Park. It has interesting points to learn, and you can also do fun things like feeding the fish during a boat ride around the sea water around the ruins. Unique experience!

Not the best park in Takamatsu. If you wanted to see the castle, you could see it and photograph it outside. Inside is small and boring. I would not recommend it as a must-see place in town.

We had some time to kill while waiting for our flight, so took a stroll through this peaceful, extensive garden/park. There was a Chrysanthemum festival on at the time and the displays were incredible. The entire park had only a few visitors walking through it...More
