Tons of shops and restaurants to try. Very large and clean. I spent 3 days trying out some of the restaurants here and was pleased by all of them.

The most spacious shopping area I have ever seen in Japan. Not very crowded when we visited during a Tuesday afternoon and evening in April 2018. Nice mix of shops and restaurants so we had little trouble finding things we were interested in.

It is a loooong shopping street, and worthy to note that it is full of people even after 9.30pm. Loved it. Love the liveliness of this place as well.

A good mix of shops both local as well as international names. Very wide walkway compared to some other shopping lanes in other Japanese cities.

This is something you find all over Japan, a covered shopping arcade with something for everyone. Decent restaurants, not just in the main path but also in the side streets off it, be careful though, traffic does cross through the arcade on these streets, mostly...More

Love this Shopping place! You can get many things along the same street - drug stores (cosmetics products etc), clothes, karaokes, gaming places, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, Parco Department Stores. Unlike in other bigger cities in Japan, there are much less people here & make it...More

You are asking about a street within the city of Kumamoto. If the cruise lets you get off and see the city, then you can visit it.
