Nostalgic old trams, some single some double cars all with different color schemes and designs make for interesting moving museum pieces. From station #3 Kumamoto train station to the shopping and castle areas stations #8+, it costs 170-yen or 500-yen for an all day pass....More

Easy and convenient transportation to get around town. Can't beat the price and it makes change if you don't have it.

This is a short 1/2 hour train ride from Kumamoto to Misumi which is a connection point to Amakusa, a hotspring an seafood town. The A Train itself is absolutely beautiful. There are drinks available for sale on board. Lovely ride.
