This place may look like the usual shopping street of Japan. However I noticed that they have small streets that branches out which contains little restaurants that may worth your hunt. Go for a walk around this place. The local team will bring you there.

Tenmonkan is in the center of Kagoshima and is a series of glass-covered galeries that function as shopping streets. Here you can find every shop you can imagine, flowers, toys, telecom, bars, snacks, little restaurants and even a coockie-factory. Really worth seeing and if you...More

Busy street with shops and restaurants. The streets were decorated in Christmas theme making the whole area very festive.

Do not expect to find luxurious goods here, but the local goods are of reasonable quality. Surprisingly there are many drug stores and 100-Yen shops. Food choices are plentiful, ranging from soup noodle to shabu-shabu pork.

This is a popular shopping spot all undercover. There are lots of restaurants, shops and gaming areas to enjoy. It is always busy and a fun place to visit. The city view bus stop is close by too.

This is a very animated area with lots of dining options and two major shopping malls are within walking distance. Besides, there is an airport shuttle bus stop nearby. We were lucky to have picked a hotel in this area!

This is great for shopping, eating, drinking and playing! Well worth going in to the pachinko slot places just to experience the noise and craziness!

This large shopping complex is outside but covered. It has everything you would expect, food, drinks, clothing, etc.
