The water is lovely and blue and makes a beautiful contract to the stark Mt Shiroyama on one side and Kagoshima city on the other. Take a ferry trip for a very reasonable price to get great views of the area.

A nice ferry trip to Sakurajima across Kinko bay only costs 160 Yen which is a bargain. The famous volcano is in the middle of the island and can be seen from miles around.

Tourists can pass through Kinko Bay by taking the Sakurajima Ferry. On the ferry, you can see one side is the volcano with rural view, the other side is Kagoshima with city view, such a big contrast make the bay wonderful and attractive

Swimming. Sailing, etc. Walk on the beach, enjoy summer fireworks. Great area to visit. All with a great view of the beautiful Mt. Sakurajima.

By taking Sakurajima Ferry, you can enjoy a nice view of Sakurajima. The round trip by ferry costs only $3. Why don't you take a cruise across Kinko Bay?
