I stumbled into this place after visiting Shiroyama Observatory. There were the statue of Saigo Takamori and little caves with little exhibitions. Just place to spend 5~10 min for tourists.

5 minutes is all you need to visit here, and is probably only of interest to those interested in history. It is on the way up to shiroyama hotel/observatory.

This is interesting for about 5 or 10 minutes. If you have a car then it's fine, but if you are talking the tour bus it's a long wait.

A brief stop, but worth the trip if you're into Japanese history. Best to use the site seeing bus to see.
