To visit the port proper, come on 2nd Saturday of the month. The administrative building has some sushi restaurant, some display and even a sundry shop. Some details of the place are also there.

The market was slightly difficult to find, however the restaurant Ichibazushi Uotatsu was absolutely superb. The sashimi was extremely fresh. The sushi was elegantly presented with a touch of wasabi to enhance its favours. The miso soup with clams is also a must try. For...More

There are quite a few fish eateries in the building where you can order fresh sashimi. The plastic food and prices indicated also gives us assurance that we are ordering the right food.

Open for public once a month. Go for the 'lucky bag'. Others are still a bit pricey but still cheaper than at the usual market.

There're seven or eight restaurants. Among them, most focus on sea food, except one or two.
