The plan to travel from Centrair to Tsu using Meitetsu was quickly changed to a high-speed boat, with availability and reduced time.
Very stylish on a large ship. We arrived at the bay in 45 minutes as planned, although it was quite swelly. Very comfortable.

We used the ferry back to the airport have been working out at Suzuka circuit, it seemed the easiest option to get us back to Nagoya in good time.
The journey from Suzuka out to Tsu took around 45 mins in a taxi and was quite expensive, around £50, we arrived about 15 mins before the boat was due to leave, very easy to get a ticket, passengers were loaded on very quickly and we left bang on time, as expected in Japan!
Journey time was 45 mins, very easy crossing and when you arrive you are literally a 2 minute walk from the heart of the terminal. Definitely an easy option, it's cheaper on the train but this way is much quicker and you don't have to muck around with changes and making sure you're on the right trains.
Definitely highly recomended, make sure you give yourself time to get through the traffice, sometimes there is a 2hr wait between boats so you don't want to miss the one you are scheduled to go on!

I arrived at Japan at the Centrair International Airport then went to Kyoto. After visiting surrounding area of Kyoto, I went to Toba. If taking the train to the Airport, I needed to go to Nagoya first. Instead, I went to Tsu and took the high speed boat. There is a bus to take passengers from the train station directly to the ferry terminal and the bus schedule ties in with the ferry schedule. All is very convenient and if one visits Mie, the boat ride to the airport would be recommended.

If you are exploring Mie Prefecture treasures such as Ise Shrine and Kuma No Kodo, you should definitely use this service. It is far easier than travelling by land, and the novelty of taking a boat from the airport is both memorable and enjoyable. This is a catamaran boat which cuts gracefully through the water. They have English on their website and it is cheaper than several other modes of travel.

For $35 apiece on a rainy afternoon we were kept high and dry in transit all the way from the Toba bus terminal to the gates at the airport. The price compares very favorably with any other mode of transportation making this connection, and you avoid the hassle of train line changes and station transfers. I would definitely use this service again.
