We walked in from our hotel looking for a restaurant. This mall has lots of regular shopping, souvenir shopping, and more dining facilities than you can imagine. It is a short walk from the train station and the Piole mall. It seem so much that we were afraid we would get lost so we went to the Piole mall for dinner. If you are shopper you will like this mall.

This is one huge food fair with a wide range of stalls selling pickles, dried fish, fancy confectionery, bread, all sorts as well as a supermarket and small eating places.
Just a joy to wander round and see what's on offer.
Bought some lovely ready cooked food to take back to our hotel and reheat with the microwave. A good way of making your pounds go further.

Arriving in Himeji to spend a day at Himeji castle, we first wanted to grab some food. Seeing signs for Grand Festa, you can either follow the signs to descend a staircase, or you can use the connected walkway from the underground station provided you use the correct exit.

The clothing/accessory shops opening times seem to vary a lot, but the food-court hours are more consistent. Do not expect late night food from this area, it will be closed!

Small pop-up stores cater for special events, like a haunted house when we were there for halloween.

Overall not bad, just could use better signs/maps for navigation once you're inside.
