Nothing much to do, but to take a picture of the renovated castle 🏰. I went during sakura season. But the sakura trees are in front of the castle not near the castle. Best spot for jogging and strolling with dogs or friends.

This is not a real castle, it's a reconstruction of what's left of the ruins. The grounds are used for all sorts of different events, festivals like Tennosai where all the mikoshi gather before the procession to the shrine, or for a giant outdoor gyoza...More

It is a good place to go for a walk but the castle itself is not so impressive, and very small. It shows some explanation of the castle in old times, but the castle itself is not so old.

It's a new castle, don't think you are going to check a very old building, but it's very nice on the surroundings, not a main trip :)

The small city is abt.50min away from Tokyo by Shinkansen and a good destination for a half day or even full day trip. You could enjoy some great dumplings or explore some sights. The small castle cant be compared with the one in Osaka, but...More

The area was beautiful and park attendants keep the area clean and presentable. Some display areas and nice views of castle reconstructed ruins. Would be a nice place to picnic in, however, when I went there were quite a bit of people who were there...More

We walked here and just looked at the castle-- inside the rooms were basically bare. It is nice to see a reconstruction of the castle and a park, but it would not be the highlight of our trip to Japan.
