Located in Chinatown this was one of the finest examples of ornate architecture and brilliant coloured temples we saw in Japan. The decorations, rooflines, and pillars are all impressive. It is very well maintained and still well used and popular with worshipers. It is interesting...More

It is easily found in Chinatown. We went at night and it was a good choice. Looked a bit more exotic than in the day time. Yokohama is so clean, and so organized, this is a bit more like the rest of Asia. Interesting place...More

This is a fairly typiucal temple but interesting located in the heart of Chinatown in Yokohama. It is well worth a visit as is Chinatown which is not typical of Japanese cities. The temple and Chinatown is a short walk from Motomachi-Chugakai station.

This one of a couple of picturesque temples in Chinatown. It will attract your camera. It is located a short, 5-minute, walk from our hotel (Rose Yokohama). There are many shops and almost countless places to eat in Chinatown.
