We visited for a morning. The architecture of the museum is wonderful. I highly recommend going in to watch the video presentation. The staff give you a translated audio version. I learnt so much. Plenty for the little ones too.

Some hands on designing of your cup and tailor your noodles for ¥300 a piece. Great fun and a magnificent display of the history of instant ramen. Don’t miss the video and snack on some noodles on the top floor.

You can do china town in yokohama, the pier where the ferris wheel is or stroll about the street with the victorian homes and have tea at the many cafes there. They’re all about walking distance if I remember right
