You are literally in the middle of the sea here after traveling through a 14km (8.7 mile) long tunnel. It is the 4th longest tunnel in the world. Nice views of Tokyo landmarks can be seen on clear days.

There is novelty in driving 10 kilometres under water and surfacing in the middle of this vast bay into what is basically a mini mall. You can see Tokyo, Yokohama and the industrial skyline of Chiba. On a clear day you can see Mt Fuji....More

this tunnel cuts the travel time from Kawasaki to kisarazu. However it's always bad traffic during weekends.
