It is a nice place to see airplanes. It is dynamic and powerful. We can see the airplanes from near distance. It is usually crowded on the weekends. In the park, there are benches to sit and space to relax. There is also a shop...More

It’s near Narita Airport. As cherry blossoms were in full bloom, the traffic around the area was pretty heavy. So we decided not to go any further to enter the park. But there were plenty of cherry blossoms along the street everywhere in Narita.

Sakura no Yama Park is a great place to take an easy stroll along the paved walkways or to sit with a coffee and enjoy the aircraft landing and taking off at Tokyo Narita International Airport. Small grocery store and Pilot shop (FlightShop Charlie's) with...More

This is a great place to watch planes land at Narita Airport, as long as the wind is blowing the right way. If the planes are talking off towards this park then they are a big high by the time they fly overhead, but landings...More

You have amazing views across Narita airport RWY 16R. Aircraft come in nice and low, perfect for photography. Lots of seating and nice flower beds, very nice scenery. There's also a gift shop and cafe but it's quite expensive. I recommend going across the road...More

Close to several hotels, albeit not too easy- the walk from the Excel/Hilton/Morroad isn't too far but it's along a fairly busy main road- take care. The park itself is great- the viewing deck is wide and offers a clear view of the landing threshold...More

It is best to visit there on Cherry blossom season but it is hard to find car park space in cherry blossom season between end March and early April.

You can walk here from the Marroad Hotel. You get a great view of the 16R end of the runway and if the sun is out there will be many people taking photographs of the aircraft.

There is a bus, but it was difficult to understand the schedule because I do not speak or read Japanese. Google Maps was helpful. There was not a train.

I was unable to in November of 2017, and the staff was no help at all. Uber changes rapidly, though, and may have more service now (it is controversial in Japan). You also might ask your hotel to help you arrange a return... More
