The tram travels down central Okayama and is an easy way to get from the train station to sights as Okayama Castle or gardens.

We used this tram to get to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Gardens. You catch it from the middle of the roadway just outside the Okayama train station. It’s only 100 yen each way and leaves every 5 minutes.

These teams are very convenient. Can pay with coins 100 to 140 yen. Or can use a Pasmo card. Trams run ever 5 minutes and are comfortable.

the line is not too long but very interesting. You can choose the type tramway you want to ride: from very old to very modern. Very reasonable fees.

After spending some days in Tokyo you find yourself in the past with this lovely tramway, really a good way to move. Not expensive, fast and really a jump in the past.
