We had a few hours to fill, when overnighting for the Alpine Route. We spent a pleasant couple of hours wandering around down here. Late afternoon, no one about (tourists or locals it seemed) but some interesting architecture and streetscapes.

The port is interesting because signs are in Japanese and Russian. Locals say that Russian sailors left behind a fair smattering of their DNA during their visits here. The old town is a street with lovely traditional buildings.
