Beautifully restored and maintained garden. The rooms some of most famous Meiji-era authors stayed and pennd their work.

Loved this the most in Atami. Wonderful aristocratic Ryokan in a serene atmosphere. Visit the rooms, pause for a while, relax! Take a green tea/ coffee break in the cafe. Stroll in the tranquil garden. You won't feel like leaving the place. Only regret is...More

A very nice stop right in the center of Atami. The house was built by a wealthy businessman long ago as a home and place to host guests. It is a very well preserved and still opulent today.

It's a nice place to visit if you come to Atami. You can see an example of Japanese style design, walk around the building and see the rooms from the inside, and it all surrounds a beautiful Japanese landscape garden which you can also stroll.
