Born, raised in Amsterterdam, returned back after college to raise my son. Now much to do around here, but this place is a very nice start, hopefully will lead to more. Very nice view of river on a nice day. Great place for a walk...More

We've been going to the summer concerts at the park for years. Now that the bridge is in place ,it's easy to walk back and forth to the restaurants on the south side or walk along the bike path. Nice playground for the kids and...More

From what it was to what it is now, is like night and day. The Amsterdam Riverfront and Pedestrian Bridge have now become the focal point of the former rug city. Each year the city and local organizations help to present a variety of entertainment...More

What a pretty, active, and happy place to visit. Lots to look at, many visitors, and friends to see. We walked, read every sign-learned A LOT we did not know about our home town. Went back for music and events in July and August as...More

The Riverlink Park now crosses over the Mohawk River. I don't believe there's anything like it anywhere else. The Mohawk Valley Overlook Bridge is beautifully landscaped with trees , flowers , artwork and lighting. The mosaic is outstanding . There are benches along the way...More

Beautiful and interesting scenery plus entertainment on weekends. There is an area for children to play plus a restaurant on premises in Riverlink Park. On the south side of the pedestrian bridge there are several businesses you can visit. Definitely worth the stop if you...More

The pedestrian bridge is very nicely built, but I'm not sure anyone would traverse it more than once. Given the serious problems with poverty and housing, the money could have been much better spent on local issues that benefit year round residents rather than 'tourist"...More

We walked around the park, and then across the new pedestrian bridge. They put a lot of work into the historical plaques, as well as the planting of the flowers and shrubs. The 911 memorial was also very touching. We felt a little uncomfortable staying...More

It is such a pity that it has become the norm for members of the audience to carry on loud conversations throughout the performances at the summer concert series. It is rude, selfish, and disrespectful to both the performers and those of us who are...More
