We had a lovely morning in Shirakawa-go with Yamamoto! He is full of energy and knowledge and even though it was short it was exactly enough time for visiting the village! Highly recommended!

Yamamoto provided an easy, efficient way to experience Shirakarawago. He taught us some simple Japanese, gave us some trivia about the village and gave us tips on how best to use our time in the village.

Take the early morning tour to avoid the crowds at Shirakawa-go. Our guide was charming and cracked several jokes along the way. Cost seemed reasonably affordable. Yamamoto also provided us with good food recommendations after the tour ended.
