For the price I paid, the exhibit was TINY. I did like the artwork and I understand it came from far away but if I had known, I would have gone to a different art museum that day.

The museum is very conveniently located, just outside of Kanayama Station. Unfortunately, this is more like a gallery than a museum. The admission price is high when compared to other museums and items displayed. Requires about 2 hours to view the exhibit. Recommend to check...More

We were visiting family and went again to this great museum. We saw a special exhibit on Botticelli and Monet. Both were fabulous. This is one of the World's great collections. Highest recommendation!

We saw a very interesting wood block exibition. Others might be less appealing. Very dependent upon whats on. Easy to get to by Kanayama station.

If you are in Nagoya it's worth a stop by. This art museum often brings in some great international pieces by famous artists and currently the renoir pieces are lovely. I love the way they frame the headlining piece with light. If you don't speak...More

The museum just recently announced that they will be closing down in a couple of more years. The main reason is because they are in the red, and cannot continue to attract people with their exhibits. It is a beautiful museum, conveniently located right next...More
