Activities like aerobics and Zumba classes add to the appeal. Evening brings a magical vibe with lights and food stalls, offering chair rentals and opportunities to make sand art. Lifeguards are always present, ensuring safety alongside the enjoyable atmosphere.

Near the beach, you can find umbrellas for rent at a reasonable price of around 2,000 won. However, if you're looking to purchase one, local shops offer competitive prices, often better than what you'd find back in Korea. This makes it convenient for tourists to stay shaded without breaking the ban

Even though the seas were too rough to swim - red flags out and authorities monitoring - Non Nuoc beach is still worth a visit. My hotel (Sheraton Grand) was on this beach. For the moment, there's a lot of debris and erosion as Danang had recently suffered a number of storm hits. But, I still walked on the beach, jogged on the beach, and read my book on it. Honestly, My Khe beach is only more famous because of the historical context and its proximity to Danang city.

This is a very clean beach with very rough waves. I imagine you could surf in this beach without a problem even though we did not see any surfers. There were not many people present. Our guide explained that soldiers stationed at the Danang Airbase would come here often for R&R.

I was so looking forward to visiting the famous My Khe beach, because of the place it held in the lives of so many of our soldiers during the Vietnam war. Well I was hoping for the beach community feel and some degree of old Vietnam, but it is very sterile with concrete and was very hard to imagine a beach community. And it is the only place we were taken advantage of on our bill at one of the beach restaurants. I understand progress but do not take all the character out of such beauty.

I like to share my experince to those who are going to travel to Vietnam. I have just been to Da Nang in August 2012. If you also like me dont know to speak vietnamese then I will advise you to follow travel agent. If not many unexpected incident may happen.
I have experience a 5 days trip to Da Nang - Hoian - Hue - Danang. The first day me and my family decide to experience ourselves without any travel agent. The first we do is to search for the money changer to change for the Dong. It is the first difficulty we faced when we need to communicate with them. Second difficulty will be the dinner time when we need to look for food. We scare of getting lost thus we just find the near by restaurant. Most of the local restaurant all speak vietnamese and menu also written vietnamese. You will have limit choice and difficult to try the authentic local food by yourself. You can only go to those restaurant will menu written in english and mostly are serve with western food. Dont know how and why the food we order also turn out different. Anyway we still finish all of it. Hahaha.. That our first day.
We decide to rest early and looking forward for the next day because the next day we have our travel guide will brings us around the whole trip. It save more travel time.
We still prefer an organise trip with transport to pick you up and bring you to the destination. You dont have to worry about where to find the transport.
Our whole trips also provide us the authentic local food. You dont have to worry of your breakfast, lunch and dinner any more. You will not have difficuty to communicate with the local or oder the wrong dishes.
The whole trip also have a english speaking guide explain to you for the whole trip. (A language that you can understand)
I will like to recommend if you to travel with travel agent if you like to make your trip with less worry. Our travel agent is Tam Singh Travel in Da Nang. We do like their services for the whole trip. You may consider them.
Happy travel in Da Nang!

We had heard lots of Da Nang beach before coming to the place. Hence we took the chance to see it from the summit of the Monkey mountain. It was awesome and marvelous. Everything was amazing but the name China beach. Biker nguyen told me that it should have been called Da Nang beach instead. And we knew the locals also didn't want to attach "China" to their own beautiful property at all. Delicious seafood near by also a good point that people should spend time on walking to the beach.
