a really good insight into the Cham culture, and how that has influenced / been influenced by the larger Vietnamese culture. Lots of very well preserved statues and casts, really worth taking the time if this even remotely interests you

Excellent introduction to Cham culture which marvelously complements a visit to the archaelogical site of My Son. Airy displays allow to fully appreciate beautiful sculptures and artefacts.

We came here on a tour. I did not expect to see so many sculptures in one exhibit. Our tour guide explained to us the history behind these stone sculptures and their discovery surrounding the Da Nang area. I can see the direct connection of...More

In Hanoi we learned that in Vietnam 54 ethnic groups are living. One of the biggest Group are the Champa, whose artificial capabilities are shown in this museum. You should visit.

The Cham Sculpture Museum has had a major upgrade since I last visited and for the better. Great collection of Cham sculptures. Pottery, traditional clothing and more information on The Cham people is upstairs. Great temporary photo exhibition taking place also.

Very good museum with some very fine examples of surviving Cham sculptures and temple reliefs from Cham towers around Da Nang. It gets a bit busy when the tour groups arrive but thins out over lunchtime.

The souvenir shop seemed pretty good and the replica statues seemed to be good quality. I must admit to not looking that closely but it had good selection.
