Intriguing place, can see the petroglyphs even at night. Large area to wnader around day or night, lovely walking paths, very peaceful. Could spend time in the park with family or picnicking.

Hili Archaeological Park is an amazing combination of archaeological sites and a park for walking.
Perfectly clean green park, in which some archaeological sites are located in open access.
One of the main monuments is the Great Tomb in Hili. Her age is more than 4000 years, diameter is 12 meters, and height is not less than 4 meters. In the mid-1970s, it was restored. In ancient times it was covered with a roof.
Next to the Great Tomb is the site of Hili 1, once upon a time there was a tower of clay brick, the height of which would be several meters. It was excavated in the 1960s by Danish archaeologists. A thick round wall was discovered, inside which there were several rooms, in the center of which was a well. Today we can only see the foundation of this building.
All structures found in Healy are dated back to 3000 BC. until 2000 BC.

This place is only for families. When my parents come to visit, I take them there. It is especially great during the winter and beginning spring. It also has some of the oldest tombs in the world. Must Visit.

Located on the northern side of Al Ain, this peaceful archaeological park and public garden was one of the stops in our itinerary during an organized tour of the UAE and Oman. Vestiges of a settlement and tombs dating back more than 4000 years are in evidence, particularly the Great Hili Tomb, whose two entrances are decorated with carvings of humans and oryx.
There really is not much to see, so take a photo or two, use the toilet, and then drive on.

Hili Archaelogical Park is the most peaceful park in Al Ain. The park is located too far from the city along the Oman border.
The archaeological remains, including historic buildings and graves have been protected inside the park. The archaelogical site is converted into a park. Those remains are believed to be nearly 5000 years old.
It has well maintained grass, trees and children play areas. It is nice to spend the evening with kids in a cool environment.
Also, a mosque is available inside the park.
Entry is free and it is open daily from 4 pm only. Free parking is available.

As far as the archaeological part - there is not much there. The main beehive tombs have been very recently reconstructed. The stuff of interest is in the Al Ain Museum. The park itself is nice, but the bathrooms disgusting. Free.

We were quite disappointed by this visit. We had been meaning to visit this archaeological park for a long time now, and as it only opens in the evenings we hadn't done it yet. In any case definitely not worth the detour. Not much archeology in this place. Done and over in 15 minutes.
