We only visited this place with safari jeep. It was an hour or so drive for the whole red tour and pigeon valley was one of the valleys. Great place. The cost is 120TL for 4 of us.

A valley full of pigeons. A nice stop by Soandos Travel (Guide : Sakir). There are also a few small stall selling souvenirs with relatively lower price compared to Istanbul.

Rug up, take plenty of fluids plus good hiking boots and then enjoy the walk. From Goreme it is a 3 or 4 hour trek.
