Memorable day at Ephesus

We took a full day tour to Ephesus from our hotel in Kusadasi. Our guide Kaya was waiting for us at the agreed time and was really friendly, speaking very good English. At the beginning, he made sure that plans for the day were in line with our expectations and the costs were confirmed. He gave us lots of background information coupled with stories and facts that we will always remember! Kaya was sensitive to the amount of detail that was relevant whilst keeping us entertained with his excellent commentary. Included in our tour were visits to Mother Mary's House and the Museum, both of which we recommend. Thank you Kaya for a really interesting and memorable day.

Full day private tour of Ephesus

Thank you to our guide Kaya for a wonderful private tour of Ephesus, the museum and surrounding historical sites. The 8 of us had a very enjoyable day. Kaya’s knowledge of the history and his storytelling style made Ephesus and the surrounding historical sites come alive. I would recommend this company.

Wonderful day in Ephesus

Grateful to Kaya for his knowledge and warmth. We began our day with a nice Turkish coffee and tea and Turkish delight treats. My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary touring the ruins , visiting the home of Mother Mary and sharing a delicious authentic meal . We had a wonderful skilled and friendly driver who took us around in a Mercedes sprinter van in complete comfort. We ended our meal visiting a turkish rug weaver/school where the process was explained to us and we were given the opportunity to purchase beautiful carpets and some lovely jewelry. Although we were not interested in purchasing any we did appreciate the time and skill it takes the local women to make these masterpieces. Kaya was great company as well and was gracious to have a surprise anniversary cake for us after our meal . His suggested photo spots provided us with great memories of our day and by communicating with his contacts kept us out of the crowds and we able to get some excellent pics and never felt crowded. Kaya was proof that people of all faiths and cultures have so much to learn from each other. Thank you !

Great to Work with on Necessary Cancellation.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip to Greece this coming May. One our highlights was to be a private tour to Ephesus when our cruise line, Celestyal Cruises, was to dock in Kusadasi. Ephesus Port Tours was gracious and very accommodating when we had cancel the tour. I hope to be able to use their services again very soon.

Great Tour!!!

Azer was phenomenal, she took the time when we wanted more explanation, she moved faster when we asked her too. The pickup process from our cruise ship was extremely easy. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great day!!

Friendly and personalised service

Our guide Ozlem has kind and caring nature and was sensitive and alert to our needs, adapting our time together to our requests. Ancient Ephesus is a large site and there were many visitors that day. She managed to steer us away from the worst of the crowds so we could listen to her at leisure. She held the hand of a female senior to walk her over difficult and stony areas. A great asset to the tour company.

Ephesus great tour!

Ada was a wonderful tour guide. She was very kind and took the time to answer all of our questions. Every stop was fantastic! St John’s Basilica, Virgin Mary’s house, Ephesus, wonder of the world, to see pottery and rugs being made. Lunch was great. I highly recommend.

Informative and fun!

Our tour guide was Selçuk, he was very kind, and very knowledgeable. It’s hard to get an authentic experience of a country in one day and I feel like we got it. Selçuk was very good at getting us into the site before the crowds and the heat of the day. We learned so much, not just about Ephesus and its history but about Turkey as well. Our only thing to make it 4 stars instead of 5 would be that it was awkward making conversation at times, but overall a great experience!

We had a wonderful day with Henry as our guide. His van was spotless and his driver Apo very skilled. Henry is a lot of fun and has amazing recall of facts to tell us what we were seeing. Henry is not only a very good history guide, he is full of information about Turkey and the local area. Heartily recommend this company.
