After a year i visited the shop again, but it is still one of my favorite places in Kaleici. Mehmet, Achmed and the rest of the team have always time for a welcoming smile or conversation and never make you feel obligated to buy anything....More

The seller is fluent in English and knows how to attract you to his oriental carpets and tell you about his culture and history. You won't regret paying it a visit

You can't leave Mehmet's shop without being seduced by his excellent choice of silk and wool textiles. Jackets, wraps, shawls and wraps. Stunning selection of cushion covers too. I bought a small carpet and a few cushion covers for Christmas presents. They were all unic and hand made. The price was reasonable after I asked around. Thanks to Mehmet Bey. I would definitely recommend people.
