I saw this temple while on a bicycle ride from Pai. You head out from walking street and go straight without any turns at all until you go up the hills outside of town. There is a large sign on the right side and you...More

This morning at sunrise I walked up to the temple - it is quite a workout I assure you. But the view from the top was well worth the climb. You can see everything. They even have a cafe there.

The temple is located on a mountain. Got there by motorbike on steep roads. The temple itself is like any other temples, but it does give you the nicest view of the city.

While the temple itself is unspectacular, on a clear day the views from this temple overlooking the city of mists is hard to beat. There is a narrow winding road to the the top, though more adventurous souls can climb the stairway a short distance...More

There is a monistry and a few shops as well a two small pagoda's where a Buddhist and his wife are meant to be hurried. Great to hire motor bikes and ride up. Best thing though is the view you get of Mae Hong Son...More

charming of the Burmese traditional style monastery building structure and still has well preserved. climb up the stairs to the temple was a great challenging, however the perspective scenery view from the observation platform was a stunning and impressive experience. it's the right place to...More

This temple is situated on the slopes of a hill and once there, the view of the town below is amazing. There are stalls to purchase some items and places to eat, the temple is crafted with precision and attention to detail.

Go at 5pm when it’s cooler, take the walk - don’t be lazy - it’s excellent. The temple is fascinating as it holds the remains of Buddha’s chief disciple, but the views - oh the views... sun goes down at 6pm so get there before...More

Great view point to watch sunrise and sunset. You can see the town from above and watch landing and taking off airplanes. Free entrance.

I saw no opening hours, you can walk up the stairs at any time, so you could go up before sunset and watch the sun rise. I guess the Wat itself (the buildings) will close at some point.
