This is the only place we wanted to visit on the river, so we hired a longtail boat from Krabi town pier for one hour. Probably over priced, but we were happy with 700 baht total, for 3 adults and one 7 year old. I've...More

Thailand is full of much Asian History and the caves at Khao Khanap Nam bring that to light. As I ventured the caverns it became apparent via various sculptured representations that they were dwellings where humans have lived for centuries. Although no longer occupied in...More

From the pier across the Riverview Hotel, you can get a longtail boat driver to take you the ten minute or less ride up the river to this site where there are three caves. As of this writing, they generally want 600 baht for the...More

Walk to the end of the free mangrove walkway (coordinates for the start of the walk 8.074542,98.9167768 ). It's a nice walk but better done when the tide is high, more birds and monkeys and generally prettier when you're not just looking at mud. From...More

Rarely have I been so overwhelmed by a tour (which was around the mangroves and to the cave.) This one hour, long-tail boat ride from Krabi Town was so much more than I anticipated. The highlight was climbing up into cave at the limestone karst....More

We went there by long tail boat to Khanap Nam cave. There were many monkeys. The ticket to go inside the cave was managed by the locals and not expensive.
