I did enjoy visiting Koh Panyi and learning about their history and their way of life and they built the “floating island” or “village on the water” with the use of floatable plastic. They have also build mosques, a school, restaurants on water. During the...More

Got the opportunity to visit Panyee as part of a day tour to James Bond Islands. Put your organized lunch at the village restuarant. It was a totally unique experience. We marvelled at how nobody had lost their lives in the 2004 Tsunami in this...More

Because this visit was included in trip package I had to go there again. In 3 years changed only one thing - BIG restaurant for visitors. You get lunch, nothing special, good chicken. Drinks not included, of course NO alcohol, no beer. Many shops, stink,...More

This was ok but purely set up for tourists and quite pricey for drinks/snacks. Pleased we only had lunch there as nothing much to see, if part of a tour it’s ok but I wouldn’t make the effort to go there if not.

We visited the floating island as part of a larger tour. Thankfully we didn't eat there having read the other reviews. The place looked dirty, the people were unwelcoming and just glared at you. We couldn't wait to leave.
