Mick Newbatt and crew keep this memorial to WW2 dead in great shape. Hundreds of POWs and thousands of local population died building this railway link. Remains from many countries are interred here. Any visit must include the nearby DEATH RAILWAY museum.

I came here with my British family who were visiting Thailand for the first time on a trip out of Bangkok and this visit was very memorable, especially for my father who has an interest in war history.

Do visit this cemetery and take time to reflect on the sacrifices of life given by all these men and one woman for future generations. So often visitors take a few photos and move on. They deserve our respect

Graves of those who died while building the Thai-Burma railway. Very well kept. Both British Empire and Dutch soldiers here. Worth visiting.

I didn't expect to see such beautifully and respectfully cared for graves. This is such a sad place and a stark reminder of the horrors of war.
