While the temple is beautiful and has a lot of life like sculptors, You get fleeced by the compulsory donation you are forced to make at the end.

This was my first Sri Lankan temple (but not my first temple). Interesting and well kept. Lots of vivid wall paintings (more in line with Hindu temple than buddist).

A small place with lots of sculptures and wall paintings, telling stories of Buddha. I recommend you ask the guide to give you details about them.
