Near the prison stands the old Dutch clocktower which has never been maintained or looked after. Don't expect to see a clock.

This is a poor excuse of a tower which isn’t maintained and left in ruins. There’s a jail right across it which signifies the lack of respect for historical architecture. The port right next to it also stinks!

Being a fan of ruins, this site didnt leave much for the imagination. An old left over clock tower that was difficult to reach and see, due to the constructions taking place.

Little to see and learn here. Near the Negombo Fish Market. Not interesting and only worth a quick photo.

This was a great clock tower. But now it can not be seen because it has felled during rain season. But you can see the ruins.

Again a piece of history from the past during the dutch occupation of the island. Features European architecture and probably constructed by local masons and labour
