I had to see it for myself to believe this natural geological occurrence.
There were diagrams and explanations at the site to describe how these lava hexagonal structures were formed.
Hard to visualise the geologic event but simply amazed at the outcome.
Went there with the intention to educate my kids on how lava could flow to the sea and came up with beautiful natural shapes such as those seen there. Great to have educational information nearby to explain the formation. More should be done to explain...More
