We hired a car for 10 days and drove around all of Mahe island. This beach is just around the corner from Petite Anse and my second favorite on the whole island. There is plenty of wildlife to see under the water. Water is clear...More

Parking is tricky, but maybe that’s why it’s not more popular. This was our favorite beach until we found a couple more further up the coast. It has a small cafe that stops serving at 3:30.

We stumbled upon this beach by accident and loved it. The road from the 4 Season entrance is really steep and narrow, but it is worth it (or you can park up the hill and walk down). The beach is small and because of the...More

Anse Soleil is a lovely and beautiful beach. There were more people there than other beaches I visited but it was not crowded at all. The beach was very clean, nice soft white sand and clear water. There is a small restaurang next to the...More

When reading reviews everyone talks about Petite Anse right next door. We went to Petite Anse and saw the signs to Anse Soleil by chance. When we visited it a few days later we were blown away. The beach is a beauty. It is quiet...More

A lovely, secluded and easy to access beach. Very quiet when we visited with calm waters and great views. Highly recommended

I have no idea why people recommended this beach so highly other than it was a bit secluded and there was good snorkeling. Definitely my least favorite beach so far on Mahe. It was a long walk down to the beach (and worse back up)...More

This beach, private and hidden away with only few visitors when we were there (compared to the masses up north), great snorkeling and just overall beautiful location. And right next to it is Chez Julien, great seafood for lunch.

This was my favorite beach in Mahe as the ocean almost everywhere else had a lot of algae and/or rocky bottoms but this one was just perfect.

I believe that this is the most picturesque beach on Mahe Island. It is not the biggest beach on the island, and with more than 10 people around, you notice the people. However, if you spend a long enough time there, you might find yourself...More
