We went on a boat ride in the Sea of Galilee. Very stable classic boat, where we get to dance and sing in the middle of the lake. Jesus used to walk on the water in this lake.

We found that most access points to sit/picnic/swim at the Sea of Galilee had a ‘toll’ gate for parking . It costs 50 shekels for the first 3 hours to park then 20 shekels after that. We found a spot that had people fishing and...More

Some have said that the beaches are strewn with trash, rocks and weeds but it really depends were you go. spend some time finding the awsome beaches that are nice with sand. some on the south end of the east side.

Fabulous! A trip to the Sea of Galilee helps put so much Biblical scripture into perspective. Taking a boat ride was very moving. The sights on the north side of the Sea are a must. The park was well done and to see the ruins...More

Sea of Galilee was pretty. Tiberias however is a hole. We were nearby with a hour to kill so we checked it out. Homeless people, wrecked, burned out hotels on the strip, stinky. Went to a beach. Although busy, was all garbage and broken glass.This...More

This is where Jesus was walking onto the sea. I tried but I sunk 😅, kidding aside, this is a must see when traveling to Tiberias.

How very exciting to be on the very sea where Jesus was; was a highlight of my trip! I am scared to death of being on water, but this experience was so worth it.

I just got a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Besides of being an escape from the scorching heat on land, it was not an excited experience since there is not much to see on the shores of it. Some souvenirs were offered for...More

Hi. If you are driving you can get to Caesarea from there- but we went everywhere by coach, so it was easy. I don't think that you would need to spend the night in Caesarea. Hope that helps.

I was there Oct '16 at the end of a hot summer. Many 'no swimming' signs, many people ignoring them. I didn't swim myself, but the water was a very pleasant temp. There were designated swimming places at popular beaches.
