It is something of a trek to the top; not good for anyone who has difficulty walking or climbing. But, for those who do walk up, the reward of the site is great.

Looking over the Sea of Galilee at Kinneret Lookout, it’s a must visit if you’re in Tiberias, I personally don’t think it’s as dangerous as what some reviewers made it up to be; children aplenty from 4 make it up and down the slopes. Hike...More

Great view of the Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights, the passage to and from Nazareth. This breath taking view of history provides the pilgrim or tourist with the story of the extremes of power during the time of Roman rule. The large caves over the...More

This was an important crossroads and defensive location through the early centuries. There are trails you can hike (among the grazing cattle), and the views are fabulous.
