Beautifully preserved synagogue. Small for such an important religious site. While not very ornate compared to some European churches, it is obviously beloved and revered in the Jewish faith. Site is not easy to find but that's typical of Tzafat (Safed). Parking can be very difficult to find in the town, and you certainly cannot park anywhere near this synagogue.…

We were told that this beautiful synagogue has a twin in Toledo, Spain. It is a beautiful synagogue in the Old City of Safed. All the elements have a explanation in the Kaballah. So take a walk through the tiny streets and find this beautiful synagogue

Gorgeous synagogue, which looks better than in the pics. Very high ceilings and s spiritual vibe. Can go pray by the tora book. Just off the main alleyway.

Everything in this synagogue is meaningful in Kabbalah, from the number of arks for the Torahs to the number of windows around the synagogue. There is a sheet that explains the numerology and significance of each feature. In my opinion, the prettiest synagogue in Tzfat.

Beatiful interior in a insconpicuous building matching to blue hilly neighbourhood. Blue color that is directing our thoughts towards Lord. Very nice staff, welcoming everyone inside. Before visit I recommend to read a bit about symbolism and meaning of place
