Spent almost an hour at Hisham's Palace and loved it and I imagine this place will be even better once the mosaic floor opens in 2019. Started with a video describing the history of the palace before having a wander around to explore the impressive...More

Nice quite place, if this would have been in Rome it would have been overcrowded. The Japanese do a good job supporting the reconstruction. A lot of old stones when you are not too much into archeology. However the Rose of Jerich is nice to...More

Still being excavated. Will be more impressive when renovation and excavations are finished. At this time, wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

Well excavated palace with a prime mosaic to be unveiled in 2019. There is a couple of mosaics on site worth seeing, an example of 8th century Islamic design.

As a sucker for ruins and a fan of especially the ruins in the Middle East this was quite something. Very well preserved and had it almost to myself.

One of the few attractions open in Jericho when we visited. In three parts the palace, the baths and agricultural estate with an elaborate irrigation system. Ornate stone work and elabourate mosaics.Clear views of the surrounding area.
