Walking around old Jaffa was a pleasure. Just wandering around and exploring the gardens, the streets, architecture and the views of the sea and the beach of Tel Aviv. Walking in the harbour is also quite pleasing.

A must see if you are in Tel Aviv. It has great history, clean, and safe. We enjoyed a casual walk around the old city with our guide. We also enjoyed the view of the ocean and of Tel Aviv

Every time we were there (tried twice) many galleries were closed. Not worth the trip. Flea market was ok. Some cool hip bars/ restaurants in the area

Hello Everyone, Me and my wife went for lunch at this Abulafia restaurant in Old Jaffa. The salads they brought to us, were simply terrible. They test like they been sitting around for 2-3 days, totally tasteless. The Kabbob and other chicken dish we ordered,...More

Stayed in Jaffa in the boutique Market hotel and it's only a short stroll into the old Jaffa and the harbour. Superb historical souroundings with art shops and galleries.

What a great place to stroll and find a restaurant any time of the day. Lots of cool shops and a market place make Jaffa the "in" place to be.

Hands down, I would recommend the Royal Beach Hotel. We found it in walking distance of everything we wanted to see. (We're New Yorkers, though, so we walk a lot.) It's close to Jaffa and the Harcamel Market (by anyone's... More

If you keep kosher, then the only open restaurants are in the better hotels; If you do not keep kosher then there are lots of places open - in Jaffa we like 'Hazakan v'HaYam' (translates as 'Old Man and the Sea')
