We checked out the spa after spending some time down at the dead sea hot spring. The facilities were basic, but probably the best in the area. The sweeping outdoor view and relax area was really lovely. The indoor salt pool was nice as was the hammam. The lockers were fine. We did not have any services, but they seemed extensive and had good products. I will add that luxe spa facilities on the Israel side of the Dead Sea are extremely limited. As a guest of the hotel we came for the spa. Where to begin... well the pluses maybe. Location is amazing, and a broad selection of tea is waiting for you. But... outside there is a sun area with beds. A lot of the beds are so broken you can not use them. On top of them are beds which are so old and stained you do not want to touch them. You do get two towels, large but so old one was completely thorn. Although non-smoking, tourists are smoking constantly... you literally lay between old cigarette buds, in healing smoke. Then the indoor facilities... everything is old, broken and very very very dirty. Hairs all over the place, against the tiles, mirror, sink... brrr. Jar with cotton balls cannot even be moved. Handicap toilet had a towel and paper laying on the flo t all day. Dry sauna has very old stained wood with grid on the seats and dirt everywhere. Also very small you can not lay down or something. Not a nice scent and clean environment... just somewhere to run away from you... but where to? If you come like us for a spa retreat... pool is closed so no place to go... …
