Ashkelon's National Park is great: it has nature and history, as well as archeology. You can hike through, but you don't need all day. It's a small park. There is access to the beach, but it is out of season- no lifeguard. No boating, but along the beach and in other beaches of Ashkelon (Dilila Beach, Bar Kochva) there are surfers and clubs you can rent a Board or SUP or Kayak. Water temp.17 C and outside are around 12-18.
Enjoy your visit
