A rich archeological area, with excavations dating back centuries and including Canaanite, Muslim, Jewish and Christian remains. The beautiful natural setting is also good for a picnic, and there is access to the sea.

Lovely to visit with the history of Samson and Galaila. I went with a local, make sure you bring your local identification. The price was 30shekels per person. Great place to wonder. A must see in Ashkelon.
