259 steps to the top after a short trek up a trail. The views are well worth the walk up. Stop for a relaxing coffee at the top.

Easy climb and worth the effort for the (very) early morning walk. When we got to the top, I wasn't too disappointed with the view, albeit it was cloudy.Be prepared with raincoats and warm clothes/fleece. It can be wet and cold.

I think Mt. Kelimutu is the best destination in Flores Island, alongside Labuan Bajo pf course. The 3 colors crater lakes are so amazing. Astonishing!

The lakes had been on my list for 20 years so I sure had some expectation when going there. Due to ongoing road constructions, the climb (by car) from Moni to the entrance of the lake park was quite difficult and dusty. But that didn't...More

Nice place to vivit. A short walk (20 min) to reach the volcanoes. Nice to see once. You could go for a picnic an visit the arboretum which is nice too cause it is full of birds and really nice trees

Kelimutu is quite spectacular and super easy to access, which might be a good or a bad thing. For me, it makes it a bit less interesting, since you really see the same scenery as shown in the pictures :p There is no "experience": everything...More

Getting up early to see sunrise, but it's worth it. The driver takes you up most of the way, then a 20 min walk to the top. Well worth getting up for early for - the sunrise is amazing, especially with the three crater lakes...More

In my opinion, it's better to go to Kelimutu by plane, because it takes 12 to 13 hours by driving (but actually you can stop by Ruteng to see the famous "Spider-Web Ricefield"). It depends on your preferences. But I think... More
